Probing President Jokowi’s Energy Policies

A Decade of President Jokowi energy sector policies during his 10 years in office have contradicted Indonesia’s energy transition efforts. This can be seen from the various regulations issued over the past decade, which tend to support the production and use of fossil energy. Some of them have even caused Indonesia to disburse trillions of rupiah in the budget for programs that are not in line with the ideals of the energy transition.
